The Saadian Tombs form a royal necropolis beside the Kasbah Mosque, within walking distance of Bahia Palace. The decorated chambers reward a focused visit, but their tighter circulation can produce queues.

Understand the site
The Ministry describes a necropolis begun for Muhammad al-Shaykh and enlarged under later Saadian rulers, including Ahmad al-Mansur. Marble, zellige and fine plaster distinguish the burial chambers.
Plan for the small spaces
The chambers are far smaller than Bahia’s courtyards. Move with the queue, avoid holding a doorway for photographs and step aside after viewing the most decorated interiors.
Combine the southern monuments
Bahia, El Badi and the tombs form a practical southern Medina group. Two sites make a comfortable half-day; all three require an earlier start and separate tickets.
