You can visit Bahia Palace independently. An entry ticket does not automatically include a human guide, and the availability of an official on-site audio guide should be confirmed at the entrance rather than assumed.

Is there an official audio guide?
Do not rely on an old listing or a reseller bundle as proof of a current official audio guide. Ask at the entrance what interpretation is available that day. Some third-party tours include their own recorded commentary; that is separate from official palace admission.
How to visit without a guide
Follow the open visitor route and read the palace as a sequence: smaller riads, reception rooms, the Grand Courtyard, gardens, painted cedar, carved plaster and zellige. Open the what-to-see guide before entering and save it for quick reference.
Guided or self-guided?
Choose a guide when historical context and live questions matter most. Choose a self-guided visit when you prefer your own pace, photography or a shorter route. Either way, allow about 60 to 90 minutes and verify current opening arrangements.
