When the palace opens

The published visiting hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Treat 5:00 PM as the closing time, not the ideal arrival time: ticketing, security or access to individual rooms may wind down before the final visitors leave. For an unhurried visit, enter no later than mid-afternoon.

The best arrival time

For a quieter experience, aim for the first hour after opening. The Grand Courtyard feels calmer, the morning light is softer and group tours are less concentrated. If you arrive later, lunchtime can be a useful second choice, especially outside the hottest summer weeks.

Visiting during Ramadan

Ramadan can bring a shorter visitor schedule or an earlier last admission.
